Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is a medium?
    • Mediums are people who have a special gift that allows them to communicate with spirit people to give mesages from the afterlife. The aim of a medium's work is to prove that there is life after death and to help the bereaved come to terms with their loss.

  2. Are there different ways that mediums can sense the spirit world?
    • Yes, there are three main ways:
      1. Clairvoyance - "clear seeing" - this is where a medium is able to see a spirit, or to see what a spirit is seeing or has seen.
      2. Clairaudience - "clear hearing" - this is when a medium is able to hear a spirit.
      3. Clairsentience - "clear sensing" - this is when a medium is able to sense a spirit or what the spirit is trying to convey by e.g. smell, taste, touch or feelings, sensations and emotions placed on the medium.
    • A medium may have one, two or all of the above talents.

  3. What is a psychic?
    • A psychic is a person who is specially sensitive to psychic influences or forces of a nonphysical, apparently supernatural nature.
    • All mediums are psychic, but not all psychics are mediums.
