Terms and Conditions

1. Booking Agreement: By booking any event, the participant(s) agree to all terms and conditions, the participant(s) indemnify Across Borders Paranormal Investigation Team Limited and its employees and subcontractors, from and against all liability in respect of any costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of or arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or damage to any property arising from participation in the activity. It is recommended that the participant(s) take out third party liability cover prior to the event also.



2. All booking is done between the participant(s) and Across Borders Paranormal Investigation Team Limited (hereafter referred to as "ABPIT Ltd"). Any queries should be directed to ABPIT Ltd and not to the location(s) advertised.



3. Health and Safety aspects of each event will be explained at each location and must be adhered to at all times. ABPIT Ltd will not be responsible for any physical or psychological damage, long term illness, injuries or death as a result from attending any event. Investigating the paranormal can be hazardous and dangerous, therefore all clients attend and participate at their own risk.



4. No alcohol or drugs allowed at the event. Anyone arriving under the influence will be asked to leave. Anyone suspected of bringing alcohol and/or drugs will also be asked to leave.



5. All clients must be over 18 years old.



6. ABPIT Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage to equipment belonging to the participants, during or after the event. All belongings are the responsibility of the owner and are brought at the owner's risk.



7. To the best of our knowledge all information about the locations and related hauntings are genuine and not fabricated, however we cannot guarantee that any paranormal activity will take place on the night you stay. We believe that ghosts and spirits have free will, as do we.



8. Please wear suitable clothing. Many locations can be quite cold in the middle of the night, so warm clothing is advised, and an extra layer just in case as when you're sitting still for periods of time you can become quite cold. Sensible, flat-soled shoes are recommended as often the floors of places we investigate are uneven. It may be wise to bring a change of clothing in the event that one may be required.



9. Occasionally, events may be cancelled or postponed by ABPIT Ltd due to weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances or situations that are out of our control. If this happens, ABPIT Ltd will endeavour to ensure you receive a prompt refund of full payment. If the event is moved or rescheduled, ABPIT Ltd may set refund limitations. Cancellations on your part within 42 days of an event will result in no refund. Cancellations over 42 days before an event will only be refunded at 50%. This is to cover our administration and deposit charges to our host locations. Tickets are also non-transferable.



10. ABPIT Ltd reserve the right to change, add to or amend these terms and conditions at any time. ABPIT Ltd also reserve the right to change, add or amend any part of any event at any time.



11. If at any time during an event we find any participant is breaking the rules set out in the terms and conditions or is being physically or verbally abuse towards staff of other participants, ABPIT Ltd reserves the right to request that that person leaves the event, with no refund.



12. We always advise that you secure further accommodation for the following day/night or book transport home due to tiredness caused by the event. We cannot accept any responsibility for any accidents or incidents caused after the event.
